Mini & Main Reel Alternatives for Australian Plumbers
Looking for a Razorback Mini or Main Reel?
Razorback previously offered Mini and Main Reel products for professional plumbing and drain work, including the Razorback Main Reel and The Squealer jetting mini reel.
These products are no longer part of our current range.
Rather than directing you to an unrelated product, we recommend choosing equipment based on the job you are trying to complete.
Whether you need to inspect a drain, locate a camera underground, clear a blockage, or maintain your existing Razorback camera system, our current range includes equipment designed for those specific applications.
What Can You Use Instead of a Mini or Main Reel?
Best for: Maintenance plumbers and general drain inspection work
The Monster is Razorback’s most basic professional drain camera and is designed for use in approximately 90–150mm pipes.
It is a practical option for plumbers who need a reliable camera for everyday maintenance and inspection work without stepping up to a larger system.
Need to Inspect Drains and Pipes?
A professional drain camera may be the better option if your primary goal is to inspect pipework, locate faults, identify blockages, or record what is happening inside a drain.
Razorback currently offers drain camera systems for a range of pipe sizes and plumbing applications.
Current options include:
Need Equipment for Drain Jetting?
If you previously used or considered a jetting mini reel because you perform drain-cleaning work, Razorback currently offers the Mob of Pigs – Jetter Nozzle Kit.
The Mob of Pigs is a three-piece nozzle kit designed for sewer and stormwater jetting. It includes:
- Brass Turbo Body
- Stainless Penetrator Head
- Stainless Grease Head
- Up to 4000 KPA Operating Pressure
It is designed to help drain cleaners tackle a range of common sewer and stormwater blockages.
It is not a direct replacement for a jetting mini reel, but it may be relevant if your current requirement is focused on jetting and blockage-clearing equipment.
Need to Locate a Drain Camera Underground?
If locating a camera head or sonde is the reason you were considering reel-based inspection equipment, Razorback also offers professional locating equipment.
The RIDGID NaviTrack Scout Locator is designed for remote transmitter or sonde locating and uses multi-directional locating technology to help pinpoint the transmitted signal.
Please note that this equipment is intended for sonde locating rather than general utility-line tracing.
Choosing Equipment Based on the Job
Drain and Sewer Inspection
Choose a drain camera system suited to the pipe diameters you most commonly inspect.
Blockage Diagnosis
A drain camera can help you visually identify obstructions, damage, root intrusion, and other problems before deciding on the appropriate repair or cleaning method.
Drain Jetting
For sewer and stormwater jetting work, consider current jetter accessories such as the Mob of Pigs nozzle kit.
Sonde Locating
If you need to determine the underground position of a camera head or transmitter, consider a compatible locator system.
Maintaining Existing Razorback Equipment
Razorback also carries camera heads, cables, springs, skids, screens, power supplies, connection cables, and other spare parts for supported Razorback camera systems.

Built Around Repairability and Flexibility
Razorback equipment is designed around practical use for Australian plumbers.
Across most of the Razorback drain camera range, camera heads, cables, and spare parts are interchangeable, helping reduce unnecessary downtime when components need to be replaced or upgraded.
The Big Unit 39mm Drain Camera is the exception and has different compatibility requirements.
This approach allows plumbers to replace individual components rather than automatically replacing an entire inspection system when one part requires attention.
Why Razorback No Longer Lists Mini & Main Reels
Our Mini & Main Reel products are no longer available for purchase, so we have removed them from our active product range.
We have kept this page available to help plumbers who are still searching for those products find accurate information and current Razorback equipment that may suit the work they need to perform.
We do not want to recommend an unrelated product simply because an older item is no longer available.
If there is no direct replacement for your previous reel setup, our team can help you determine whether a current drain camera, locator, jetter accessory, or other piece of equipment is appropriate for your job.
